Fixed Rate Home Equity Loans
Desert Energy Credit Union’s Home Equity Line of Credit is secured by the equity in your home. Members may draw on a Line of Credit for up to 8 years and have up to 10 year repayment term. This is an option available for members who like the ability to have funds readily available. Interest may be tax deductible (contact your tax advisor for qualifications).
Fixed Rate Home Equity Lending Features

Desert Energy Credit Union’s fixed option Home Equity Loan has a “fixed” rate and payment that will remain constant for the term of the loan. Fixed Rate Home Equity loans are available on second homes and non-owner occupied properties.
- Flexible Repayment Options
Bi-monthly or bi-weekly payments available at no additional charge. No prepayment penalty. Optional automatic payments through payroll deduction or automatic transfers are available.
- Low, Low Fees
No origination fees. Fees that apply: document recording, title insurance, flood zone check and appraisal. Based on available equity, fees may be included in the loan balance.
